Those days where we’re wound as tight as a clock spring, where just ONE more thing will cause us to completely LOSE OUR SHIT at the poor barista who accidentally made us a full-octane latté instead of the GODDAMNED NON-FAT LATTÉ WE *JUST* ORDERED. JFC, how HARD can this BE?!
Those are the days when we’re all most in need of, and most grateful for, yoga. We start our practice full of RIGHTEOUS FURY at the complexity and unfairness of this pressure-cooker of a world we all live in, and we end our practice with an overwhelming feeling of calmness, peace and serenity. And gratitude.
And then we go back to the coffee shop and stuff an extra $5 in our barista’s tip jar.
